Student Math Practice and Learning Sites

 

These sites are arranged based on what math or learning type they emphasize. There are live tutor sites, self help sites, an automatic problem solving site, a video site and a other support site that has a math glossary, calculator training, free graph paper and virtual flash cards.

Live Tutor Sites

Is a free tutor site where you can ask questions and get help with your homework. The site provides hints and directions to solve many types of math problems (not necessarily giving you the answers). You have to register for the site and you can also volunteer to tutor for the site.

Dr. Henry Fliegler (http://www.fliegler.com/mathman.htm)
This is a free tutor site that you can email math problems to and the tutors will do their best to answer the problem within 24 hours. This site is for all levels of mathematics.

This site gives animated tutorial lessons that are interactive. The site is excellent for fractions and sign numbers.

This site has practice sections and games on multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, square roots, rounding, and other arithmetic skills. This site will help you to improve your speed in solving these math problems and you can develop your own flash cards.

This is a very good site that has an automatic solutions provider. The site will give you problems to work on or you can input your own problems. This site can also help you in algebra topics and can graph and print equations.
